Product Manager - Local Payments (Portuguese + Spanish) (Fintech)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with 3 days per week on site. A work-from-abroad policy allows remote work for up to 30 additional days per year.

What you will do

• Own and inform the product strategy for the local payments portfolio, from scheme engagement through feature development and market launch.
• Lead product discovery and delivery with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize payment products while balancing scheme requirements, financial efficiency, and payment success rates.
• Analyze acceptance rates, scheme performance, and financial flow efficiency to identify business opportunities.
• Define KPIs, automate reporting, and provide data-driven visibility into payment performance.
• Plan roadmaps and lead initiatives involving new payment method integrations, flow optimization, and co-created products with payment schemes.

Requirements

• English, Portuguese, and Spanish are required.
• Proven experience owning a product or feature set, leading product discovery, and delivering in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience defining KPIs and making insight-based decisions.
• Technical fluency with APIs, automation tools, and technical delivery teams.
• Ability to understand customer needs and create frictionless product experiences.
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, compliance, commercial teams, and external stakeholders.
