Sr. Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Act as a technical subject-matter expert and trusted advisor for customers, designing customized integrations, workflows, and technical solutions.
• Assess, implement, and deliver cybersecurity services for ICS environments, industrial networks, and IAM/PAM deployments.
• Resolve customer support requests and coordinate priorities and technical resolutions with engineering teams.
• Train and coach customers on establishing and managing hirify.global deployments.
• Identify product functionality gaps and collaborate with product management, engineering, and technology partners on improvements.
• Work with sales and customer stakeholders, including federal-sector accounts, to define solutions and demonstrate technical value.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience developing cybersecurity solutions and services, particularly IAM/PAM, ICS environments, and network security.
• At least 3 years of experience with industrial control systems such as SCADA, DCS, RTUs, IACS, PLCs, HMIs, engineering workstations, or historians.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and deploying industrial network security controls, including zoning, segmentation, and isolation.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Shell/Bash, Python, or C++.
• Knowledge of virtual machines, network virtualization, containerization with Docker, and at least one high-level programming language.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly in an industrial environment.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible.
• Ability to teach and coach technical subjects.
