Head of Product (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Ireland or the UK

hirify.global is a fast-growing SaaS company providing fleet-management technology across in-cab hardware, cloud back-end services, and web and mobile applications.

What you will do

• Own the full product-management lifecycle, including intake, backlog management, analysis, business cases, prioritisation, and requirements definition.
• Write implementation-ready user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and user flows for multidisciplinary development teams.
• Define the product operating model, processes, tooling, and collaboration cadences across engineering, design, sales, customer success, and leadership.
• Shape product strategy and roadmap communication while balancing investment across the product portfolio and engineering capacity.
• Own product direction for AI, identifying valuable use cases and guiding responsible delivery of AI-powered features.
• Build and lead the product function by defining roles, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing the team.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of senior product-management experience, including ownership of the lifecycle from intake and requirements through delivery.
• Hands-on experience operating independently as the initial product function and performing product and business-analysis work personally.
• Strong ability to write implementation-ready requirements, develop business cases, and make commercially sound prioritisation decisions.
• Experience prioritising backlogs against engineering capacity, lead times, and dependencies.
• Experience building and scaling a product function and team from an early stage.
• Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in transport, logistics, automotive, telematics, or video telematics.
• Experience delivering AI or machine-learning-powered product features.
• Exposure to IoT, connected devices, embedded hardware, AWS, or Azure.
• Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, Product School, or another recognised product-management qualification.
