Platform Engineer (Kubernetes/AWS): Owning and evolving an Internal Developer Platform for distributed media software teams with an accent on self-service capabilities, infrastructure automation, and developer enablement. Focus on accelerating Kubernetes and Amazon EKS adoption, improving CI/CD workflows, and building reusable platform services at scale.
Location: Málaga, Spain; hybrid work from the Málaga office

What you will do
- Own the roadmap, adoption, and evolution of the Internal Developer Platform.
- Build self-service capabilities, golden paths, templates, and reusable platform services for engineering teams.
- Accelerate Kubernetes and Amazon EKS adoption across product engineering teams.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, environment creation, and developer workflows.
- Improve CI/CD capabilities and reduce manual processes through standardization and automation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and promote platform engineering practices across teams.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with production Kubernetes experience.
- Experience building and operating solutions on AWS, including Amazon EKS.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or a similar tool.
- Experience with CI/CD automation and reusable developer tooling or platform capabilities.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a focus on improving developer experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Málaga office.
Nice to have
- Internal Developer Platform and platform engineering experience in a multi-team organization.
- Backstage or similar developer portal experience.
- SaaS platform transformation experience.
- Experience with engineering productivity initiatives and DORA metrics.
- Experience building self-service platforms at scale.
