Technical Product Management Manager (Hyperscale)

Location: Onsite at the Santa Clara, California office

Annual base salary: $239,000–$359,000 USD, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Engage with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate qualification and escalation activities, and drive customer outcomes.
• Define hardware and software requirements covering drive design, firmware, telemetry, support, product prioritization, and roadmap development.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts for customer solutions.
• Partner with engineering on performance testing, root cause analysis, and optimization for customer use cases.
• Create technical content, presentations, demonstrations, and public-facing materials for internal and external audiences.
• Represent product lines at conferences, seminars, webinars, and other industry forums while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, product management, engineering, or technical pre-sales within data storage or related technologies.
• Deep knowledge of flash memory, compute and storage hardware and software, networking, data center architectures, and standards.
• Strong systems thinking, analytical problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional influence skills.
• Experience working with engineers, architects, and leadership at large customers.
• High proficiency with Linux system administration and scripting in Python, Bash, or similar tools, plus experience with AI-driven development workflows.
