AI Platforms Analytics and Governance Lead

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America; relocation available.

Salary: $130,700–$205,200 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Manage and optimize enterprise AI platforms, including GitHub Copilot and OpenAI.
• Define platform standards, governance policies, model consumption guidelines, budget guardrails, and cost allocation strategies.
• Analyze AI platform usage, token consumption, licensing utilization, user adoption, and business value realization.
• Develop forecasting models for AI credit consumption, budgets, capacity needs, and spending, along with executive dashboards and KPIs.
• Identify optimization opportunities across prompt engineering, prompt caching, model routing, token reduction, context windows, RAG, batch processing, and agent orchestration.
• Partner with security, legal, privacy, compliance, engineering, finance, procurement, platform owners, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis, data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, data modeling, data visualization, and business intelligence.
• Programming experience with SQL, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with dashboards, data warehousing, ETL, data quality, and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, R, or SAS.
• Ability to lead cross-division projects, set functional strategy and policy, influence executive decisions, and mentor employees.
