Fund Accountant

Location: Singapore; hybrid working arrangement

What you will do

• Prepare NAV reports, management accounts, and other fund accounting reports.
• Record accounting journal entries for fund and investment management companies across different jurisdictions.
• Review capital distribution notices and fund administrator NAV reports, reconciling them with internal records.
• Identify exceptions and perform quality checks on accounting records.
• Prepare audit schedules, annual financial statements, regulatory reports, tax returns, and other deliverables.
• Process payments, review reimbursements, open bank accounts, and prepare management reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial field.
• 2–3 years of experience in fund or corporate accounting; fund accounting experience is highly advantageous.
• ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience with Singapore MAS quarterly and annual returns and IRAS tax filings, including Form C, ECI, and GST, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, responsiveness, organizational skills, and analytical ability.
• Fluent English is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is expected.

• Proficiency in Mandarin.
