Senior Unity Engineer (Contract)

Location: Remote

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 per year

Early-stage game development studio creating a stealth mobile game set in the Castaways universe.

What you will do

• Integrate the Adjust SDK with the marketing team to measure campaign performance.
• Build Apple and Facebook OAuth authentication for the game.
• Work with the Facebook API to enable social connectivity across game mechanics.
• Optimize game performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Apply test-driven development practices and maintain high standards for code quality and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building games with Unity.
• 5+ years of experience with a modern programming language such as C#.
• Experience building and shipping high-production-value mobile games.
• Experience testing, automating, and instrumenting code.
• Ability to profile, analyze, and improve performance from low-level limitations through high-level architecture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
