What you will do
- Lead the architecture, implementation, maintenance, integration, and validation of embedded imaging subsystem software for ARM Cortex-M platforms.
- Develop, port, and optimize firmware and device drivers for image processing, video, camera interfaces, and hardware-accelerated codecs.
- Design firmware interfaces for image acquisition, processing, and streaming on resource-constrained systems.
- Integrate camera sensors through MIPI CSI-2 and support sensor bring-up, calibration, characterization, validation, and image quality tuning.
- Lead imaging software activities across pre-silicon FPGA verification and post-silicon bring-up, debugging, performance tuning, and power optimization.
- Collaborate with SoC architecture, silicon design, verification, field applications, and strategic customer teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 6+ years of embedded software experience, or B.S. with 8+ years of experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing embedded imaging, camera, video, or multimedia software.
- Strong experience with low-level firmware, HAL, and device drivers for ARM-based embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of camera pipelines, including MIPI CSI-2, I3C/I2C, embedded ISPs, raw Bayer, YUV420, RGB, 3A processing, and frame-timing control.
- Experience with video streaming, JPEG, H.264, H.265, FreeRTOS, Zephyr RTOS, or similar real-time operating systems.
- Expert proficiency in C, embedded software architecture and design, laboratory debugging equipment, embedded IDEs, Git, Jira, and modern development practices.
