What you will do
- Design, develop, and implement software applications and application subsystems.
- Analyze requirements and define coding, programming, and integration activities.
- Develop enhancements and updates for local, networked, and internet-based applications.
- Write testing plans and documentation, debug code, and recommend improvements.
- Optimize application performance and provide ongoing maintenance and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, customer service, and internal and outsourced development partners.
Requirements
- Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically 2–4 years of experience in applications engineering, programming, or a related field; an advanced degree with little or no work experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of software development, software engineering, APIs, full-stack development, scalability, and SQL.
- Experience or knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, Angular, React, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, DevOps, and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, automation, and AI.
