What you will do
- Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for application software and product subsystems.
- Analyze architecture, coding, programming, and integration requirements.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues found during testing or reported by users.
- Write and execute testing plans, protocols, and documentation.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality assurance teams, management, and development partners.
- Lead project teams and represent software engineering throughout complex development projects.
Requirements
- Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
- Typically 4–7 years of experience in applications engineering, programming, or a related field; advanced-degree candidates may have 3–5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of software development, software engineering, APIs, automation, scalability, and Agile methodology.
- Experience or knowledge with C++, Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and DevOps.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across multiple teams.
