Student Safety Specialist (Content Reviewer) — Part-Time / On-Call

What you will do

• Monitor queues and review alerts flagging potentially concerning student activity.
• Analyze sensitive content, including self-harm, violence, child sexual abuse material, and bullying, to determine context and student intent.
• Identify harmful online behavior and communicate with clients about appropriate responses.
• Review escalated alerts and contact school officials by phone to prompt urgent action.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Sales, and Customer Success to resolve client needs.
• Track emerging online threats, issues, and trends to inform solution development and team initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Strong oral and written communication, documentation, organizational, reasoning, and client service skills.
• Ability to objectively review and categorize offensive and highly sensitive material.
• Commitment to data privacy, confidentiality, and documented processes.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Crisis prevention, counseling, trust and safety, or similar experience.
• Current knowledge of social media trends and language.
