What you will do
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Linux systems, including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Manage core infrastructure services such as Kickstart, DNS, DHCP, NFS, LDAP, and NIS.
- Administer Apache web servers, including configuration, performance tuning, and security updates.
- Deploy and manage container environments using Docker, Podman, or similar technologies.
- Troubleshoot system, storage, network, and application issues, including root-cause analysis and log investigation.
- Maintain server security, access controls, patching, documentation, and helpdesk support.
Requirements
- 3β5+ years of hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Linux installation, updates, kernel modules, services, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency administering Kickstart, DNS, DHCP, NFS, LDAP, and NIS.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Apache web servers.
- Hands-on experience with Docker or Podman containers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across system, storage, networking, and application layers.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet.
- Knowledge of VMware, KVM, or cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Nagios, Grafana, or Zabbix.
