Applied AI Junior Web Developer

What you will do

• Build and maintain high-performance public-facing corporate websites using Astro, React, and a headless CMS.
• Create fast, accessible, responsive interfaces with Tailwind CSS and component libraries such as Preline.
• Use AI agents and development tools to design, write, debug, test, document, and experiment with web experiences.
• Develop testing practices with Cypress or Playwright and use AI to identify edge cases.
• Own website development tasks from start to finish with guidance and mentorship.
• Document processes and share technical knowledge with the R&D team.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and web fundamentals.
• Experience with TypeScript and React; familiarity with Astro is preferred for the website-focused track.
• A live website portfolio, including personal, coursework, or business projects.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and modern AI web technologies.
• Interest in learning website backend concepts within the AWS ecosystem.
• Strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS, AWS CDK, Docker, or infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Preline, Flowbite, DaisyUI, Cypress, Playwright, or test-driven development.
• Experience with AI development tools, open-source contributions, or substantial personal projects.
