GRC & Privacy Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 total target compensation annually, including salary, performance bonus, and equity.

What you will do

• Administer and optimize Vanta and other compliance automation platforms, including continuous control monitoring and evidence collection.
• Lead and support audits across multiple security, privacy, healthcare, and AI governance frameworks.
• Maintain compliance programs mapped to SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, HITRUST, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Interpret and apply HIPAA and GDPR privacy requirements across data handling practices.
• Conduct risk assessments, track remediation, and maintain control and evidence documentation.
• Coordinate compliance initiatives, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables while using AI tools to improve evidence review, policy drafting, risk analysis, and reporting.

Requirements

• Experience with GRC and compliance automation applications, particularly Vanta.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, HITRUST, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, and NIST AI RMF.
• Strong understanding of privacy regulations, including HIPAA and GDPR.
• Experience managing or supporting audits and applying structured project management practices.
• Comfort with AI tools and willingness to integrate them into daily workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience in healthcare, wellness, or another regulated data environment.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CIPP, or ISO 27001 Implementer.
• Familiarity with AI governance and emerging AI compliance requirements.
