Director, Product Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Primarily in-office work from the Santa Clara office is required, except during PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

Annual base salary: $255,000–$408,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Define, document, and execute the product security strategy and roadmap across product lifecycles.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of product security engineers.
• Partner with Engineering, IT, and Risk Management leadership to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
• Design vulnerability management, code review, and threat modeling practices.
• Automate security operations through security tooling, CI/CD integrations, and third-party partnerships.

Requirements

• Experience scaling and managing high-performing security engineering teams in fast-paced, multi-team environments.
• Strong knowledge of application security, APIs, public cloud providers, container services, and CI/CD platform security tools.
• Business acumen to translate complex technical threats into clear risk-mitigation strategies for executive leadership.
• Experience managing multi-vendor security tooling budgets.
• Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work from the Santa Clara office on a primarily in-office basis.
