Generalist Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is a research and product lab building a platform for continual learning that helps AI companies continuously post-train large-scale agentic models from signals generated through product usage.

What you will do

• Build and own the SDK, API surfaces, and integration infrastructure for continual-learning products.
• Develop hirify.global visualization, evaluation workflows, monitoring dashboards, and core product interfaces.
• Translate reinforcement learning systems into a clean, developer-first product experience.
• Define the product’s visual language, interaction patterns, and product philosophy.
• Work directly with founders and AI product design partners to shape the product from zero to one.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience.
• Experience building AI-powered products or agent systems and experimenting with new frameworks.
• Experience building developer-facing products or SDKs.
• Experience with data pipelines, telemetry systems, or event infrastructure.
• Ability to move quickly in a zero-to-one environment.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.

• Experience building observability, tracing, or monitoring systems.
• Experience at early-stage developer tooling startups.
• Strong product instincts and experience working directly with customers.
• Experience owning SDK design and developer ergonomics.
