AI Residency (ML Research)

Location: Must work in person at one of the offices in Palo Alto, London, or Zurich for the duration of the residency.

hirify.global is an AI research lab developing causal, multimodal world models that learn to predict and interact with the world over long horizons, with applications across robotics, science, healthcare, education, gaming, and defense.

What you will do

• Work within a research pod on live projects involving world simulation, multimodal generation, robotics, or multi-agent systems.
• Take ownership of scoped roadmap work under the guidance of senior researchers and engineers.
• Run experiments and build, debug, and iterate on training and evaluation pipelines.
• Contribute to models deployed in systems used by real people.
• Participate in the full research loop from hypothesis and implementation to experimentation and evaluation.

Requirements

• Post-MS or equivalent experience with demonstrated ML research ability through coursework, a thesis, internships, competitive results, open-source contributions, or similar work.
• Strong fundamentals in machine learning and software engineering.
• Ability to learn new subfields quickly and work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, high-ownership environments.
• Ability to work in person at one of the Palo Alto, London, or Zurich offices for the full residency.
• Genuine motivation to advance world models and hirify.global's mission.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with world models, generative video, multimodal learning, robotics, or multi-agent systems is helpful but not required.
