Machine Learning Engineer (Generative ML)

Location: Los Angeles, New York, or Palo Alto; office work is expected 4+ days per week

Salary: $173,000–$259,000 annually in Zone A; additional salary ranges apply to Zones B and C. Eligible for RSU equity.

What you will do

• Develop machine learning technologies and products serving millions of hirify.globalchat users.
• Build generative pipelines for image, video, language, and audio generation.
• Deliver generative machine learning experiences for on-device use.
• Develop augmented reality experiences using generative and diffusion models.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to explore and prototype new products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of post-Bachelor’s machine learning experience, or equivalent experience with a Master’s degree or PhD.
• Research or engineering experience with generative models, efficient models, diffusion models, language models, or related machine learning applications.
• Strong software development skills in Python or C++.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and knowledge of mathematics and deep learning foundations.
• Ability to work from the listed US office locations with an expectation of in-person work 4+ days per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related technical field.
• Experience developing real-time software for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of GenAI foundations for image, video, language, and audio generation.
• Knowledge of efficient model foundations and a track record of successful GenAI projects.
• Open-source projects, blog posts, Kaggle results, or top conference and journal publications.
