TL;DR
Customer Trust Analyst (Cybersecurity): Managing enterprise customer security evaluations and trust assets with an accent on security questionnaires, compliance artifacts, and translating technical controls into clear customer-facing responses. Focus on streamlining due diligence, automating reusable response libraries, and addressing recurring security concerns across Sales, Legal, Engineering, and Security.

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; primarily in-office

Annual base salary: $126,000–$189,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

  • Own customer security evaluations, including technical inquiries, questionnaires, audit requests, and enterprise due diligence.
  • Manage and improve the customer-facing Trust Center and artifact portal containing SOC reports, ISO certifications, penetration test summaries, and security whitepapers.
  • Translate technical architectures, security controls, and policies into clear business-oriented responses for enterprise customers.
  • Coordinate evaluations with Sales, Legal, Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, and Security under tight deadlines.
  • Build and automate reusable response libraries and trust operations to reduce questionnaire turnaround times.
  • Analyze recurring security inquiries and audit feedback to improve processes and inform product and security priorities.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Customer Trust, GRC, Information Security, Security Assurance, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cloud security architectures, and enterprise security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, and GDPR.
  • Ability to communicate technical controls, system architectures, and security policies clearly to enterprise security teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating technical evaluations and projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate security questionnaires, contract terms, and compliance artifacts.
  • Expected to work from the Santa Clara, California office, except during PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
