What you will do
- Develop, execute, and optimize strategic procurement plans for Middle East warehousing, trucking, and last-mile courier services.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to build a stable and cost-competitive logistics supplier ecosystem.
- Negotiate long-term agreements, pricing, service-level agreements, and payment terms with core suppliers.
- Establish supplier performance evaluation, classification, and incentive systems to improve service capabilities.
- Analyze logistics market trends, regulatory changes, and industry risks, and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate with operations, sales, finance, and other departments to support end-to-end logistics operations.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Middle East integrated logistics procurement, including warehousing, trucking, last-mile courier services, and customs clearance.
- Strong knowledge of the Middle East contract logistics market and established local supplier resources.
- Proven experience in strategic procurement, cost optimization, supplier ecosystem development, complex negotiations, and contract management.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, crisis management, strategic thinking, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in Chinese and English, or Chinese and Arabic is required; candidates fluent in all three languages are highly preferred.
