AI Infrastructure Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional travel are required.

Annual base salary: $140,000–$170,000, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and operate AI platforms supporting ML, LLM, and agentic AI workloads.
• Deploy AI services across cloud and on-premise environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain machine learning CI/CD pipelines for training, testing, and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Apply security updates, access controls, vulnerability remediation, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of practical experience with LLM platforms, LLMOps, and MLOps.
• Experience deploying and maintaining AI or data platforms in production and supporting high-availability AI systems.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, networking, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Scripting experience with Python, PySpark, or Bash, plus knowledge of security practices, patch management, and access controls.
• Experience designing agentic automation workflows and collaborating with engineering, data, and product teams.
