What you will do
- Own large-scale speech and audio data pipelines, including collection, cleaning, filtering, and quality control.
- Support model training and fine-tuning for SpeechLLM and general LLM architectures.
- Improve recognition accuracy for code-switching, product terms, and industry-specific vocabulary.
- Build evaluation frameworks and test sets to benchmark internal models against industry baselines.
- Partner with senior engineers on technical algorithm design and hotword mining strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in speech, machine learning, or large-scale data engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: ASR/SpeechLLM training, LLM/ML fine-tuning, or large-scale multimodal data pipelines.
- Solid fundamentals in Python and PyTorch.
- Experience with distributed data processing tools such as Spark or Ray.
- Must be based in Singapore for on-site work.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SpeechLLM or speech SSL concepts.
- Experience with contextual-biasing or code-switching ASR improvements.
- Publications at top AI venues (Interspeech, ICASSP) or relevant patents.
- Experience owning a data workstream involving hundreds of thousands of hours of speech data.
