Kernel Developer (AI)

Location: Seoul HQ, Seoul, South Korea

Developing AI hardware and the software ecosystem required for programmable, high-performance kernel execution.

What you will do

• Design the integration layer and runtime environments for custom kernels as native PyTorch extensions.
• Implement virtual ISA abstractions for direct hardware control and tensor-level programmability.
• Build programming tools, technical specifications, and reference implementations for kernel development.
• Develop interfaces that support kernel contributions and a broader developer ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Systems programming experience with Rust, C++, or Go.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture, including ISA, SIMD, and memory hierarchies.
• Experience designing clean, robust, and well-defined programming interfaces.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience with low-latency asynchronous execution, kernel-level performance optimization, or hardware-software co-design.
• Knowledge of programming language theory and compiler infrastructure, including DSL or intermediate representation design with LLVM or MLIR.
• Open-source contributions, technical evangelism, or developer ecosystem management experience.
