Scientific Expert (AI) (Biology and Scientific Research): Annotating and evaluating AI-generated scientific work and creating datasets for AI systems that support scientific discovery, with an accent on information synthesis, hypothesis generation, and experiment design. Focus on reviewing scientific outputs, generating evaluation tasks, and interpreting experiments and data to measure and improve AI scientist agents.
Location: Remote, U.S. only
Compensation: approximately $100 per hour on average, paid per task.

What you will do
- Annotate and evaluate outputs from AI systems performing scientific work.
- Generate and review tasks used to evaluate AI systems carrying out scientific activities.
- Complete expert evaluation tasks to establish performance baselines.
- Work with tools for information synthesis, hypothesis generation, and experiment and data analysis.
- Interact with AI research tools in different capacities.
Requirements
- PhD in Biology or a related scientific field, or currently pursuing a PhD; other advanced degrees may be considered.
- Ability to commit at least 5 hours per week.
- Interest in using AI to accelerate scientific discovery.
- Must be located in the United States.
