Senior Cloud Security Engineer (AWS/GCP): Strengthening cloud security controls and secure infrastructure across AWS and GCP with an accent on infrastructure as code, automation, compliance, and incident investigations. What you will do
- Build, improve, and monitor cloud security controls across AWS and GCP environments.
- Lead and support security investigations, collaborating with Engineering, Cloud Platform, FinOps, and GRC teams.
- Develop Python, infrastructure-as-code, and Kubernetes automations to reduce manual work and expand security coverage.
- Design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Support PCI-DSS, ISO-27001, ISO-27701, and ISO-27718 compliance efforts.
- Document security practices and contribute to continuous improvements in ’s cloud security posture.
Requirements
- Solid experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, preferably in security-focused roles.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation and automation using Python or other scripting languages.
- Understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO-27001, or similar security frameworks and standards.
- Experience participating in or leading security incident investigations.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and Kubernetes concepts.
- Strong ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and continuous-improvement mindset.
Nice to have
- AWS Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience in PCI-DSS or ISO-certified environments and high-scale, mission-critical systems.
- Experience contributing to automation, open-source tooling, cloud security practices, or production Kubernetes security.
