Cyber Security Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote; listed locations include Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze security events from multiple sources to identify threats and respond to incidents.
• Conduct incident investigations and threat-hunting engagements focused on web, API, bot, and human activity.
• Analyze behavioral patterns, collect security metrics, and assess the effectiveness of security measures.
• Support the implementation of security policies, procedures, and operating standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and globally distributed teams to improve security operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI/ML detection and response capabilities.

Requirements

• Hands-on SQL proficiency.
• Experience with web and API security, WAFs, botnets, attack mitigation, and web traffic analysis.
• Knowledge of securing and preparing production web environments, including Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cybersecurity threats, attacker behavior, and web application security.
• Scripting or programming experience with JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Ability to work with security data and metrics and collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Grafana, Redash, API test automation, red teaming, botnet development, or white-hat hacking.
• Knowledge of secure configuration, computer and network security, and security integration across CI/CD and SDLC workflows.
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, deployment, monitoring, and bug-tracking tools.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and OWASP.
• Experience mentoring development teams, reviewing pull requests, or improving development pipelines.
