Lead Native App Engineer (React Native)

Location: Remote

What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of the codebase for an unannounced application project.
• Build native applications for iOS and Android with React Native.
• Develop desktop experiences using frameworks such as Tauri or Electron.
• Optimize performance, animations, offline states, and edge-case behavior.
• Dive into native code and resolve complex build-system issues.
• Support teammates, share knowledge, and communicate through async writing and reading.

Requirements

• Strong experience developing native iOS and Android applications with React Native.
• Experience building desktop applications.
• Ability to work across multiple frameworks and platforms as a generalist.
• Attention to performance, animations, offline behavior, edge cases, and user experience.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively and communicating clearly.
