Senior Machine Learning Engineer (GenAI/LLM)

hirify.global Health is rebuilding the clinical research ecosystem through infrastructure that improves access to clinical trials, trial efficiency, and patient participation.

What you will do

• Lead the development, testing, and deployment of scalable machine learning models and production pipelines.
• Design and refine GenAI and LLM-based solutions for clinical trial operations, data gathering, and real-time performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with clinicians, informaticists, data scientists, and engineers to build healthcare-focused solutions.
• Improve model deployment infrastructure, monitoring tools, performance, and production reliability.
• Mentor junior machine learning engineers and establish data science and machine learning best practices.
• Present technical insights and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in computer science, statistics, machine learning, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a machine learning engineer, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or a related field.
• Expertise in training, fine-tuning, and deploying machine learning models, including GenAI and LLM experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity with cloud infrastructure and machine learning engineering best practices.
• Experience managing production-level pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and continuous integration.
• Advanced analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with oncology or clinical trial data.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM models and open-source frameworks for LLM applications.
• Experience in an early-stage startup, ideally in health tech or life sciences.
