Client Settlement Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Xi'an, Shaanxi, China; onsite

What you will do

• Process client settlement transactions accurately and on time in line with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform daily settlement activities, including rebate payments, prefunding, client fund disbursements, and transaction reconciliations.
• Review, validate, and analyze financial transaction data for completeness, accuracy, and integrity.
• Maintain settlement documentation and controls, and support internal and external audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize settlement operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, payment processing, settlement, or related transactional finance functions.
• Strong experience with reconciliation, transaction processing, financial analysis, and high-volume operational workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver a high level of client service.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of payment operations, settlement controls, and financial compliance requirements.
