Senior PROMIS MES Engineer (VAX/VMS) (PROMIS MES, OpenVMS DCL): Supporting and administering a mission-critical PROMIS manufacturing execution system in a VAX/VMS semiconductor manufacturing environment with an accent on system reliability, production support, and platform maintenance. Focus on troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues, developing DCL and Interactive Scripts, configuring PROMIS Datalink, and supporting disaster recovery and modernization initiatives.

What you will do
- Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the PROMIS MES environment on VAX/VMS platforms.
- Configure and support PROMIS components including Datalink, Interactive Scripts, GUI via Apache Server, ODS, XML Gateway, ASPC, TMS, AE, and RTI.
- Develop and troubleshoot OpenVMS DCL scripts, command procedures, and batch jobs for administration and automation.
- Support production deployments, upgrades, system changes, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, process engineering, operations, infrastructure, database, and application teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and support backup, disaster recovery, and system recovery activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting PROMIS MES in a VAX/VMS environment.
- Expert knowledge of PROMIS architecture, manufacturing workflows, system monitoring, administration, maintenance, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong proficiency with OpenVMS DCL and hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and debugging PROMIS Interactive Scripts.
- Extensive experience with PROMIS Datalink configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Strong diagnostic, communication, collaboration, documentation, and customer-service skills.
Nice to have
- SQL experience with Oracle or MS SQL manufacturing data.
- Linux system administration experience.
- Experience with DCL, PCL, RTI, TP, C#, ASP.NET, or enterprise application integrations.
- Knowledge of MES architecture, factory automation, manufacturing data flows, routes, and PPRODs structures.
- Experience with system migrations, upgrades, or modernization initiatives.
