Lead Data Engineering (Crypto/FinTech)

Location: Remote setup with access to hubs in Dubai, Yerevan, London, and Belgrade

What you will do

• Build, lead, and scale the Data Engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and technical development.
• Define the long-term data platform strategy across data warehousing, ingestion, transformation, streaming, and serving layers.
• Own architectural decisions, scalability, reliability, data quality, lineage, observability, SLAs, and governance.
• Apply AI and LLMs to pipeline development, anomaly detection, schema management, data quality, and internal natural-language data exploration tools.
• Develop marketing data infrastructure for attribution, segmentation, campaign optimization, and real-time growth analytics.
• Build low-latency streaming infrastructure for trading, payments, and risk-critical workloads while partnering with Analytics, ML, Product, Finance, and Marketing.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and managing robust data warehouse architectures.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of engineers and analysts.
• Deep understanding of ClickHouse, dbt, and modern data engineering practices.
• Understanding of marketing technology and experience automating analytics to support growth.
• Practical interest in applying AI and LLMs to analytical and operational workflows.
• Experience in or strong passion for the crypto or fintech industry.
