Location: Remote within any U.S. state; travel to headquarters and professional congresses as appropriate, under 20%.
Salary: $188,000β$198,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus and equity.

is a biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for significant unmet needs in oncology.
What you will do
- Develop scientific content for congress presentations, abstracts, peer-reviewed publications, medical slide decks, scientific narratives, advisory boards, literature summaries, and medical FAQs.
- Act as the medical writer for lung cancer and glioma programs, coordinating internal and external author reviews and submissions.
- Contribute to publications and medical strategy, including responsible use of AI and LLM tools in scientific information sharing.
- Monitor AI-driven changes in how healthcare providers access medical information and translate insights into publication planning.
- Ensure scientific content is accurately represented in AI tools through structured abstracts, open-access deposition, and appropriate indexing practices.
- Manage multiple projects, collaborate with Medical Strategy and external stakeholders, and deliver compliant, publication-quality materials on time.
Requirements
- Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, or PharmD in a medical or science-related specialty, or significant equivalent medical writing experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a medical communications agency, biotech, or pharmaceutical company.
- Professional experience in medical writing, content creation, or medical communications; oncology experience is required.
- Strong understanding of ICMJE, GPP, publication ethics, and industry standards for compliant generative AI use in publications and medical content.
- Strong project management, scientific writing, communication, accountability, and independent execution skills.
- Must be able to work remotely from the United States and travel to headquarters and congresses as appropriate.
Nice to have
- Experience in lung cancer or neuro-oncology.
- Familiarity with publications review systems.
