Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; on-site, requiring four days per week in the office

What you will do

• Build reliable and scalable infrastructure management tools for production applications.
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure changes across data and streaming platforms.
• Develop observability and orchestration tooling for monitoring and managing customer deployments.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, backup, redundancy, and high-availability strategies.
• Improve codebase quality by creating new engineering tools and processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on engineering experience.
• Production infrastructure management tooling experience with Python or Golang.
• Familiarity with observability tools, databases, event streaming, or container orchestration technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Postgres, Kafka, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting production systems in high-consistency transactional environments.
