Product Engineer (TypeScript/Rust)

Location: New York City HQ or remote in the United States; onsite work is available at the NYC office.

Salary: $200K–$300K per year, plus equity.

hirify.global develops geofencing SDKs, maps APIs, and AI-enabled geolocation solutions for marketing, fraud, and operations teams.

What you will do

• Build core hirify.global products with TypeScript, Rust, React, and mobile technologies including Objective-C and Kotlin.
• Develop full-stack features across backend, frontend, and mobile platforms.
• Operate systems processing approximately 1 billion API calls per day and 15,000 requests per second.
• QA and debug location features in real-world environments.
• Talk with customers and prospects, incorporate feedback, and help make their implementations successful.
• Participate in the engineering on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Approach engineering as a generalist and be willing to work across multiple technology stacks.
• Demonstrate curiosity and persistence when solving difficult technical problems.
• Be interested in speaking with customers and prospects and helping them succeed.
• Experience with or willingness to work across backend, frontend, mobile, or data engineering.
• Remote candidates must be based in the United States, or work from the New York City HQ.

Nice to have

• Experience as a technical co-founder.
• Experience with high-throughput, high-growth SaaS applications.
• Experience with geospatial infrastructure.
