TL;DR
Senior Data Engineer (Databricks/Spark): Building scalable enterprise data platforms, pipelines, semantic layers, and governed datasets for analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives with an accent on data architecture, data quality, and self-service analytics. Focus on designing KPI frameworks, enabling natural-language data access, and implementing RAG, vector search, CI/CD, and observability across business domains.
Location: Pathumthani (Navanakorn), Thailand; onsite

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data products, and enterprise data models for analytics, reporting, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
- Build and optimize data architectures using Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, SQL, and cloud-native technologies.
- Develop semantic layers, business metrics, governed datasets, metadata frameworks, business glossaries, and KPI definitions for self-service analytics and conversational AI.
- Partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, analytics engineers, and BI developers to translate requirements into reusable data solutions.
- Establish data quality, lineage, observability, security, governance, reliability, and performance standards.
- Support AI-enabled analytics, including retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, knowledge repositories, and semantic search.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent English proficiency required.
