Digital Designer (AI)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid

Base salary: $135,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global builds modern, AI-native software for local, state, and federal government agencies, replacing legacy public-service systems.

What you will do

• Design and ship landing pages, campaign sites, and entry points for government agency platforms.
• Build a constituent-facing visual system covering typography, motion, illustration, and brand expression.
• Develop hirify.global’s marketing site, launch materials, flyers, and campaign assets.
• Ship work directly in code rather than handing finished files to engineers.
• Use AI-native creative tools to increase creative output and quality.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development, the CEO, Design Lead, and engineering teams on pitch materials, demos, proposals, product, and brand work.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating range across web design, motion, and illustration.
• Experience shipping independently from concept through final delivery.
• Strong command of web-native design, including browser-based layouts, typography, and interactions.
• Fluency with motion and animation tools such as After Effects, Rive, Lottie, or Jitter.
• Fluency with AI creative tools such as Midjourney, Runway, or Firefly.
• Experience building or significantly evolving a brand system from first principles.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for B2G, B2B, or mission-driven organizations.
• Experience with USWDS or a comparable government design standard.
• A clear point of view on effective government-facing design.
