Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud/SaaS)

What you will do

• Build and maintain systems and internal tooling that improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Automate software delivery and operational processes to improve developer experience and reduce manual work.
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and overall system observability.
• Optimize system performance, including PostgreSQL and Firestore databases.
• Collaborate with backend and engineering teams on reliable, scalable system architectures.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term fixes across the infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience as a Software Engineer with an interest in infrastructure, scalability, and reliability.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or a similar backend language.
• Experience with cloud platforms, container orchestrators, and serverless technologies, preferably Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, scalability challenges, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Solid understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, plus strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
