Applications Specialist Intern (Geospatial)

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand; in office and field. Must be legally authorised to work in New Zealand.

What you will do

• Execute end-to-end system testing from a customer perspective, including mock project setups and off-site field data collection.
• Test current and in-development hirify.global hardware in field environments.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to provide feedback on new features and verify software fixes in an Agile development cycle.
• Identify and report bugs and system improvements for cloud-based workflows and connected hirify.global products.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a tertiary qualification in surveying, geography, or a related field.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to work outdoors during field testing and data collection.
• Legal authorisation to work in New Zealand.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global Access.
• Experience developing software independently or collaboratively.
• Interest in user-centric design and simplifying complex field workflows.
• Experience with cloud-based software systems or mobile application testing.
