Data Scientist (Blockchain Intelligence)

What you will do

• Design, test, ship, and measure clustering and attribution heuristics across billions of transactions and multiple blockchain networks.
• Pull, clean, join, and model large on-chain datasets independently.
• Build production pipelines with backfills, incremental runs, and validation.
• Investigate mixers, bridges, exchange hot wallets, and consolidation patterns, converting findings into repeatable logic.
• Partner with investigations and product teams to define correctness and benchmark against ground truth.
• Prototype quickly and harden successful approaches for production.

Requirements

• 4+ years building data science or data engineering systems that have shipped to production.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, including work with large datasets, joins, deduplication, and data skew.
• Understanding of clustering, graph/network analysis, or entity resolution.
• Ability to validate results and reason about precision versus coverage trade-offs.
• Self-directed approach to scoping ambiguous problems, obtaining data, and driving solutions to completion.
