Sr. Manager - IT Architecture

Location: Hybrid work with required reporting to the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office; travel up to 20%.

Annual pay range: $165,000–$205,000 USD, including base salary.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects.
• Manage architecture team capacity, resource planning, prioritization, goals, and career development.
• Define and evolve architecture standards, principles, governance practices, methodologies, and deliverables.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide decisions on technology investments, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
• Align technology roadmaps and solution approaches with business objectives and long-term strategy.
• Provide oversight for complex initiatives, collaborate with Product Management, PMO, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, QA, and DevOps, and escalate significant architecture risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Software Engineering, or related technology leaderhirify.globalp roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams or architecture organizations.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise architecture, solution architecture, governance, and technology strategy.
• Strong leaderhirify.globalp, stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
• Ability to work on a hybrid basis from the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office and travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or other relevant architecture or cloud certifications.
• Experience leading both Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture teams.
• Experience with large-scale digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Experience with TOGAF, LeanIX, and ArchiMate.
