What you will do

• Define and lead the research agenda across AI, infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Evaluate algorithms, architectures, and technologies for large-scale AI workloads and cloud cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate research into products and measurable business impact.
• Build and manage a small, high-caliber research team.
• Publish findings, represent hirify.global in the research community, and establish academic and industry partnerships.
• Drive innovation and act as a thought leader across the company.

Requirements

• 7+ years of R&D experience, including at least 3 years in applied research leadership.
• Track record of turning research projects into impactful products or technologies.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, AI infrastructure, cloud computing, or performance optimization.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, systems design, and data-intensive computing.
• Experience leading research teams or groups in fast-growing companies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect research with business impact.
