Founding Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco office, hybrid with 4 days per week in person; relocation assistance is available if needed.

Salary: $180,000–$285,000 per year plus equity

hirify.global develops Carebricks, an AI platform for healthcare enterprises that runs agents across patient records and clinical workflows.

What you will do

• Meet with physicians, hospital IT teams, and clinical and operational stakeholders to identify production-worthy use cases.
• Scope use cases, define success measures, and establish implementation paths.
• Translate loosely defined ideas into concrete agents inside Carebricks.
• Build evaluations to verify that agents perform as intended.
• Maintain use-case value through agent updates and changes based on clinical guidelines and operational needs.
• Improve the core platform based on user feedback and hands-on production experience.

Requirements

• Strong engineering experience with ownership of the full cycle from identifying a problem to shipping a production solution.
• Ability to communicate with clinical champions and debug production pipelines.
• Experience working with complex healthcare integrations, legacy systems, or FHIR resources.
• Ability to build and evaluate AI agents for production use.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco office 4 days per week.
