TL;DR
Firmware Development Engineer (SERDES): Developing firmware for multi-protocol high-speed SERDES up to 256Gbps with an accent on DSP, analog block interfaces, and signal-processing and communication algorithms. Focus on PHY bring-up, debugging, system-level validation, and hardware–firmware integration across Ethernet, PCIe, OIF, JESD, and PON technologies.

Location: Jerusalem, Israel; additional location: TLV. Shift 1 (Israel).

What you will do

  • Develop firmware governing SERDES DSP and analog blocks.
  • Manage interfaces between firmware and higher-level system layers.
  • Implement and integrate signal-processing and communication algorithms.
  • Support PHY bring-up, debugging, and system-level validation.
  • Collaborate with analog, logic design, and system teams on hardware–firmware integration.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong background in signal processing and communication systems.
  • 4+ years of hands-on embedded or firmware development experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.

Nice to have

  • Tensilica or RISC-V experience.
  • Knowledge of Verilog.
  • Experience in multi-protocol PHY development.
