Linux System Administrator (Robotics) (Linux/Ansible/Nutanix): Maintaining virtual Linux infrastructure and reliable data pipelines from robot training cells to the cloud with an accent on automation, platform stability, and high-throughput storage and networking. Focus on provisioning and hardening servers, monitoring Nutanix HCI infrastructure, resolving anomalies, and integrating IT systems into robotics and data products.

What you will do
- Administer and manage the lifecycle of virtual Linux servers, including provisioning, patching, and hardening.
- Automate configuration and operational tasks using Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
- Operate and monitor the data pipeline from robot training-cell capture through the Nutanix HCI platform to cloud upload.
- Monitor infrastructure health and system performance, proactively identifying and resolving anomalies.
- Collaborate with the headquarters IT team and Nutanix vendor support on platform topics.
- Support robotics and data-product developers, on-site engineers, and Linux clients while maintaining documentation and runbooks.
Requirements
- Degree in an IT-related field or completed IT apprenticeship, plus at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Extensive Linux system administration experience, preferably with Ubuntu or Debian.
- Proficiency with Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
- Experience with virtualized infrastructure and HCI platforms, such as Nutanix AHV or an equivalent.
- Knowledge of Windows system administration, storage, and networking in high-throughput environments.
- Fluent English at B2+ level, spoken and written; on-site work in Munich is required.
Nice to have
- LPIC-1 or a comparable Linux certification.
