Machine Learning Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in London, England, with remote working available within the United Kingdom. Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Research state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for network orchestration and resource management.
• Develop machine learning training infrastructure using Kubernetes clusters and manage MLOps tooling.
• Integrate AI technologies with the Spacetime platform to support end-to-end functionality.
• Document novel algorithms and related technical developments.
• Communicate machine learning technologies to potential and existing customers across different technical levels.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related machine learning field.
• Fluency in Python and at least one deep learning library, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, or a mathematical optimization library.
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to pitch and sell the technology.

Nice to have

• Experience in wireless communications, satellite communications, or software-defined networking.
• Technical sales or product-pitching experience.
• Experience writing tests for software and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with C, C++, or Go.
