Senior Alignment Process Engineer (Photonics)

What you will do

• Lead the development and optimization of AA coupling technical solutions and process flows.
• Drive process evaluation, DOE verification, failure analysis, technical risk assessments, and improvement plans.
• Improve yield, reduce costs, enhance process stability, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop key processes and technical breakthroughs for new products, then transfer products from R&D to mass production.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support during pilot runs and mass production.
• Establish process standards, SOPs, FMEA, SPC/CPK monitoring systems, and engineering documentation while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics, Electronic Engineering, Optoelectronics, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in optical communication or semiconductor process engineering.
• Experience with AA coupling, optical alignment, active alignment, or photonics packaging.
• Knowledge of SPC, CPK, DOE, FMEA, 8D, and other quality and process control methodologies.
• Familiarity with optical devices and modules, fiber coupling, grating coupling, FA alignment, and related optical principles.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; good English reading and writing skills.
