TL;DR
Senior Alignment Process Engineer (AA Coupling): Developing and optimizing active-alignment coupling processes for optical communication and semiconductor products with an accent on process stability, yield improvement, and manufacturing efficiency. Focus on DOE verification, failure analysis, new-product transfer to mass production, and establishing SPC/CPK, FMEA, and process-control systems.

Location: Dongguan, Changan Town, China; onsite

What you will do

  • Lead the development and optimization of AA coupling technical solutions and process flows.
  • Drive process evaluation, DOE verification, failure analysis, technical risk assessments, and improvement plans.
  • Improve yield, reduce costs, enhance process stability, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Develop key processes and technical breakthroughs for new products, and transfer products from R&D to mass production while meeting performance, quality, and yield targets.
  • Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support during pilot runs and mass production.
  • Establish process standards, SOPs, FMEA, SPC/CPK monitoring systems, engineering documentation, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics, Electronic Engineering, Optoelectronics, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in optical communication or semiconductor process engineering.
  • Familiarity with SPC, CPK, DOE, FMEA, 8D, and other quality and process-control methodologies.
  • Familiarity with optical devices and modules, fiber coupling, grating coupling, FA alignment, and related optical principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and project management skills.
  • Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Good English reading and writing skills.

Nice to have

  • Strong experience with AA coupling processes, optical alignment, active alignment, or photonics packaging.
