Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Tokyo, Japan; hybrid working with a balance of remote and in-office work.

What you will do

• Drive the efficiency, reliability, availability, security, and scalability of hirify.global Cloud services.
• Lead event, incident, case, problem, and service-request management through resolution.
• Triage and resolve technical issues, escalate when necessary, and own issues to closure.
• Monitor service latency, performance, capacity, and operational changes while supporting emergency response.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering and product development teams, account management, vendors, and operations.
• Contribute to knowledge management, training, mentoring, and continuous improvement of operational processes.

Requirements

• Knowledge of application installation, configuration, administration, and cloud service operations.
• Working knowledge of Azure, GCP, or AWS, including Azure VPN, ExpressRoute, and cloud service routers.
• Practical experience with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Administration experience with Linux/Unix and Windows Server.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle DB and MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of ITIL, ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, and knowledge management tools; fluent English and Japanese required.
