TL;DR
Senior Product Owner (Sportsbook): Owning the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a scalable Sportsbook back-end platform with an accent on autonomous prioritisation, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on defining product specifications, tracking KPIs, overseeing UAT and releases, and improving live product performance across distributed systems and external integrations.

What you will do
- Own the Sportsbook back-end product roadmap from discovery through delivery and post-launch optimisation.
- Define product vision, priorities, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation.
- Lead discovery and align engineering, operations, compliance, business stakeholders, data analysts, designers, and external partners.
- Define success metrics and use product data to guide prioritisation and iteration.
- Oversee UAT and release readiness against functional, regulatory, quality, and performance standards.
- Represent the product in leadership reviews, sprint demos, and partner discussions while mentoring junior Product Owners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Owner or Product Manager experience, including at least 2 years owning a product domain independently in a senior or lead capacity.
- Proven experience owning product roadmaps and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and dependency management.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience defining KPIs, analysing product metrics, and making data-driven decisions.
- Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into clear product decisions.
Nice to have
- Understanding of back-end architecture, distributed microservices, databases, and API-driven ecosystems.
- Experience with Sportsbook back-end systems, including bet placement and settlement, real-time data processing, risk management, regulatory compliance, and external integrations.
- Passion for sports or sports betting.
