TL;DR
AI Product Engineer, Deployed (AI): Building and deploying AI-powered software solutions for government and industrial workflows with an accent on fullstack development, customer collaboration, and production-scale systems. Focus on designing React and TypeScript interfaces, developing scalable backend services and data pipelines, integrating industrial sensor networks, and optimizing application reliability.
Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid. The role includes travel to customer locations globally for 6+ months.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered software solutions for complex government and industrial workflows.
- Work directly with customer stakeholders, engineers, subject-matter experts, and end-users to define product specifications and build solutions from zero.
- Develop fullstack applications using modern web frameworks, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Build scalable data pipelines, integrate industrial sensor networks, and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Monitor, maintain, and tune deployed applications to deliver measurable customer value.
- Participate in code reviews, share engineering knowledge, mentor junior engineers, and lead by example.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with frontend and backend technologies, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and database management systems.
- Strong foundation in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills, with the ability to own problems end-to-end.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with onsite engineering projects or client-facing roles such as Forward-Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Customer Engineer.
